What to get my math teacher for writing my rec

Anyone have ideas for a present to give a math teacher for writing a recommendation?

I’d get them a math related book. Not a textbook, but something interesting. I once got mine a mystery novel based on a math theorem…sorry, I don’t remember the name. Or you can give the standard chocolate/generic gift certificate, etc.
But don’t feel obligated to give a gift - a thank you note is enough.

Yeah, I was thinking something along the lines of a book too because that’s what I got my other teacher, but I don’t know any good math books =</p>

How about a Klein Bottle? ;)

well this kind of relates… what does one get a s.s teacher (had him for three years) who wrote a rec note? (btw: i had him for three years, and i really like him and he likes me, but not in a pervert way… lol. Also he is kind of in pain esp because he just went through neck surgury and is not really well…)

Thanks!

you should ask this on the parents’ board, they’re really helpful with stuff like this

A Klein Bottle is a great idea! Also, math teachers (the good ones especially) tend to have a library of math books…
