I got one too but haven’t used it yet. Mine was a little more $$ - does have automatic shut off and can vary the temperature it warms too.

Oooh, another favorite purchase was photographs and also inexpensive picture frames of S’s 2023 wedding that I distributed to family and S/DIL. The frames were about $20 for 9 black plastic frames with easel backs, 8x10” to go with the other wedding photos I have of my sibs weddings.
It’s the only recent wedding photo I have framed.These days you mostly just have digital photos and not pictures you can enjoy examining and reliving the happy memories. We gave the photos to my sibs for Christmas, as well as the retired judge who officiated and us a family friend—that was a photo of just the 3 of them.
The wedding photo has the extended family in it.

A 4 shaft floor loom! I’ve been learning to weave this year and love it.

Not a purchase but a rental - long weekend in July at a beach house and funded my 3 sons joining us. It was a splurge for us, but so much fun that we’re doing it again this year. I “wrapped” it as one of their Christmas presents this year.
