Do you have any websites that it is just DANGEROUS to visit - hard to leave without that “GREAT BUY” or “I NEED IT!” or “I WANT IT!” purchase???
6pm is that website for me. It starts with browsing my favorite brands. Then, clicking the % button which will list things in order from highest % off. Then the zoom button. Followed by the “do they have my size?” button. Followed by…SHOPPING CART!!!
So which site is it? Zappos? Barnes and Noble? Big box department store?
College Confidential. Too many good suggestions here, be it from the Good Buy or a MOG dress or a Walking shoe thread, you all seem to find many good things for me!
Amazon for me too. I’m cheap and love a good bargain, but let’s just say that sometimes things I don’t actually need find their way to my door. The fact that I can read Kindle books on any device is a dangerous thing as well. How easy is it to download a bunch of $4 books?
Amazon if it is Prime. So much easier than looking in stores.
This week: jelly roll pans (needed), underwear (needed), 3 year calendar (needed), curling iron (needed but could have waited on).
Planning to order a mattress for G’Son this week.
I do not think I buy things not needed but if I had to go to a store I would not spend so much at once.
Amazon…love it. I don’t think it hurts my wallet. When I find things I need, I’ll check amazon for better price, and even if it’s the same price, I save on Sales Tax and have the convenience of home delivery.
Amazon, without a doubt. I have spent a fortune there since epistrophy started the book thread here on CC years ago. Of course, I never need an excuse to buy books!
Gilt, ruelala, therealreal, ideel, yoox, madwell, groupon (massage, facial, restaurant). I buy enough from those sites, I could get most of the stuff from Amazon for free through points on my credit cards.
Amazon captures most of my money, they even convinced me to get their credit card LOL I do find when I shop at keurig I purchase more than I intended just for the free shipping…must work on that
I don’t really impulse buy but if, for instance, I need a new hard drive, I might only need a 2TB drive, but I go to newegg and I see the same line of drive with 4TB is only $70 more, and I end up getting that even though I really don’t need to get that extra 2TB. So, in that way, Newegg. But I don’t go and buy stuff I just fully don’t need. Pretty much only go there when something breaks, which is fairly infrequent.
