What younger artists would you old fogies want to see?

Miley has probably said and done some stupid stuff as a teen and young adult. Many people have. She unfortunately lost her original notes of her songs in the Malibu fires, but was quick to point out on Howard Stern that a person like Neil Young may have lost much more . She has stepped up in benefit concerts. In terms of Howard, sometimes you have to wade through some of the Howard Stern nonsense/frivolity to get to some good stuff. He gets some stuff out of some musicians or actors that are very revealing and interesting. He is a great interviewer.

One good thing about going to U2 concerts a lot is that I’ve seen a lot of younger bands as opening acts, including Kings of Leon, Muse, and Interpol. Also some slightly older acts like PJ Harvey and Garbage (not quite fogey).

Ok, Muse and David Guetta. Not exactly new acts, but newer - for us old fogies.

Sofi Tukker, The Marcus King Band, Julian Lage, Parkway Drive, The War on Drugs, LCD Soundsystem, Tauk, Gogo Penguin, Strand of Oaks,…

Since I live in Manhattan, not too difficult to get to see a lot of the newer acts.

33 @"Iron Maiden", I too saw Ghost this summer.

Bruno Mars and Pink.

I’m seeing Pink in March. Looking forward to it.

I’ve seen Tank and the Bangas 3 times. Once at Jazzfest and twice in small venues— they’re great in both settings.

I’d like to see Bruno.
