Ice cream.

Just guessing.

Per the interwebs:

Olive oil on ice cream is a sophisticated, Mediterranean-inspired dessert trend—often called gelato con olio e sale in Italy—that pairs high-quality extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and sea salt with vanilla or cream-based ice cream. This combination adds a fruity, grassy, and sometimes peppery note, enhancing the ice cream’s creamy texture with a savory, umami-rich twist.

I got some noodles with very few ingredients as a take home from last night’s gathering. I bought some greens and added them and some rotisserie chicken and it was great with this additions!

My girl lunch today. Reminds me of my mom because she would give us steamed artichokes with melted butter for a snack.

These are streamed and then air fried with a simple “sauce” - they are AMAZING!

Because it seems sort of related, since you spend part of the time in Maine - Blueberry ice cream from Thurston’s Lobster Pound is amazing.

I’ve heard of Thurston’s, but it’s 3.5 hours from us. On the other hand, never too far for ice cream, right?

Thurston’s is our go-to all time favorite lobster!! We’ve never had the ice cream though. Putting it on my list for the next visit.

Last night, used pork butt instead of pork shoulder—definitely less tasty but still yummy. The green olives really make the dish and we are fond of green olives!

If you have some spent bananas and some dates you should make this bread for breakfast or snack this week. I made it this weekend and it’s delicious.

I only had 2 bananas so I added a big scoop of plain yogurt. My sugar of choice was brown sugar which I reduced slightly. Between the bananas, yogurt, dates, egg and walnuts - actually a decently nutritious nut bread!
