I’m just curious.

I go to debate (my only EC) once a week… haha. And a job on weekends… if that counts.

Nonetheless, I would say maybe 2 - 3 times a week is the typical amount. I should start doing some community service after school from 3:00 - 6:00… get my EC’s up.

Not a good question. There’s no such thing as “typical”. Every person does what THEY feel they can manage and want to accomplish.

I spend about a hour a day doing the school club stuff. And once a week on voulunteering.

Depends on the EC…I’m not in 8 million clubs, rather, I stick to two of em.

I spend about 15-20 hours a week in Air Force ROTC, and another 15-20 hours a week doing Academic Decathlon.

I don’t have much free time but I like it that way.

I spend about 4 hours a week on clubs, 3 volunteering, 15 working, and about 5 working on an independent history project.

I spend 10-15 hours/week on my top two EC’s (high officer position), 3 hours/week on tutoring (plus officer position in organization), and 1-2 hours/week on other EC’s. MUN is weird cause I’d say 20 hours/week but 4 weeks/year cause I only go to two conferences and we don’t have regular meetings. :P

(No, I’m not exaggerating; yes, I usually spend more time on clubs than school. So sue me.)

If you’re doing what you love does it matter how long you spend on it?
