^^^I love that all - and the fact that you thought it was just a new remote!!! And the ride in your pj’s - priceless!!!

what kind of car did you get??

Toyota Landcruiser in a pearl white
I have to go to the dealer to get a tutorial to learn how to use all of the features. It has a lot of things I will likely never use

@lje62 – I spent 18 months debating what car to purchase to replace my 2000 LC. Came close on the ML 450, but was concerned about reliability issues with Mercedes, especially after being spoiled with almost no service issues with LC. Finally bought another LC last year and agree that I still do not understand and may never use many of its features. Although not a believer in extended service contracts, I bought one that extends to eight years b/c I can only imagine the cost of repairing or replacing any of the electronics. Just one word of caution, the low tire pressure warning light will come on when temperatures change. Completely ridiculous as it requires a trip to dealer to have warning light turned off. My husband has had same issue with BMW & Audi,

It is a bit of a shock to get back in the 14.5 year old model. No heating steering wheel, back-up camera, ventilated seats, etc. I love everything about the new car other than the rather unattractive back.

I can’t imagine what other technology / features they can come up with in the future. It even has a mini fridge in it

Next year I want Santa to bring me a willing clean-up crew! I really dislike having to nearly shout before opened gifts, empty boxes, stocking loot, etc is cleared away. Come on family, it has been laying there for 4 days now. I even have the returns \exchanges nearly done already.

@lje62 – I have had the car since summer of 2013 and have not use the mini fridge. As I am sure you learned, there is only one LC model now whereas those same features are sold as upcharges on the Lexus version of the vehicle. I would have had a difficult time rationalizing paying for ventilated seats or a heating steering wheel, so I am happy the car came with them.

Vast improvement in setting up and taking down the third row; I could really have used that in the days I was installing five car seats for nursery school or camp pick up!

I have had the third row out of my previous land cruiser , but can’t do that anymore…I think I can learn to live with it though
I loved the heated seats and still do, I think I will like the ventilated seats when it gets hot. The one we looked at a few months ago had black leather, which I wasn’t too thrilled with because I thought I would melt in the summer.
I’m ready for a road trip !
