<p>you wear cardigan if you’re a girl and a jacket if you’re a boy or a girl. Jackets are usually when it’s rainy or windy, and a cardigan if it’s chilly.</p>

<p>in terms of looks, you can wear a cardigan to go for a more fitted, clean-cut, polished look compared to a hoodie which you can look gangsta or just “whatever”</p>
<p>in terms of weather/climate, you can wear a hoodie for warmth when it is cold or raining and you’re out and about and you can wear a cardigan over a dress if you get a bit chilly at formal events (you wouldn’t wear a hoodie over a dress at, say, a piano recital)</p>

<p>hmm I’m thinking - it’s so much easier for a jacket to look messy than a cardigan. as in, when the jacket isn’t zipped up, it often tends to droop.</p>

<p>Okay, I dont know about your high schools, but many guys at my high school, all straight im assuming, wear cardigans now. Even I do. I like them, what can I say?</p>
