<p>I have to agree about the wedding in The Sound of Music. I absolutely adore that scene and watching her walk down that long aisle in that long train and the nuns watching behind the gate… </p>
<p>I have very fond memories of being curled up on the couch with youngest d and watching Luis and Maria getting married. The very first show/entertainment that I ever took her to was Luis and Maria in concert. A year or so ago the chorus that she sings with performed in Carnegie Hall with the Muppets and Sesame Street performers so … she got to relive that memory with them in person.</p>
<p>But… other favorite movie weddings… Steve Martin and Father of the Bride, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Four Weddings and a Funeral, 27 Dresses, the non-wedding of Ross and Emily on Friends, Phoebe’s wedding and what about Sex and the City… Carrie and Big at City Hall, Harry and Charlotte, Miranda and Steve… all special to me.</p>
<p>Yea, I did like Sound of Music’s wedding, tho the lyrics for the processional are amusing in the context.</p>
<p>These are fun, but I liked my own. Justice of the Peace, outdoors, beautiful day, smiling groom.</p>
<p>Thumper I’m pretty sure it was LOL… Or AMC, Jenny Gardner’s wedding interrupted by Greg Nelson in the nick of time. Still remember those after all these years haha</p>

<p>Best wedding scene I can remember off the top of my head is the South Asian family whose daughter gets married in “Bend It Like Beckham” while her sister is running out to play a soccer match and the guests are all getting crazy. </p>
<p>I liked Howard and Bernadette’s wedding on The Big Bang Theory.</p>
<p>16 Candles, where the bride has taken too many muscle relaxers for cramps and the lady from Poltergeist is playing the church organ. Love when she sits down halfway down the aisle!</p>
