<p>I love bold coffee- have recently bought starbucks Sumatra and french roast , which are bold, and also a caribou medium roast, and an Emerils big easy intense bold. They are good.</p>
<p>I love the Starbucks Sumatra, strong flavor, no bitterness. At the other end of the day, I like Sleepytime tea.</p>
<p>BTW, the cups are on sale at Kohl’s right now and with a 30% off coupon, a good deal!</p>

<p>I was a huge fan of Tully’s Kona Extra Bold but sadly, they stopped making it.</p>
<p>I wanted to try a variety of kinds of coffees before I got a whole box of one type, and that’s when I was told about Big Cat Coffees (bigcatcoffees dot com). You can make up something called a Purrrfect pack, which is a mixed box of five different types that you select yourself.
Basically, I chose five different types that sounded bold.
From there, I was able to decide our new favorite (Paul Newman extra bold.)</p>
<p>So, if you are looking to try a variety, this is a great way to do it!</p>

<p>Today I had another type that I really loved…Gloria Jean’s Hazlenut flavor. It was delicious! It’s been fun to try all the different flavors and share with my brother and sister-in-law which ones I’m liking the best.</p>

The last time I ordered a big supply of the Kona from Amazon, it was old tasting- I think that since it is no longer found except online, it may not be good quality (fresh) any more. But I might cave in and buy it again with that link… the coffee is that good!</p>

<p>I’m having a hard time finding Gloria Jean’s Cappuccino K-cups for a good price.</p>
<p>Right now, I’ve been resorting to buying the 48 cup variety packs at Kohl’s when they’re on sale and I have 30% off (those are a good deal BTW!). I think the variety box comes with about 8 of that flavor, and we like the other flavors as well. But, I’d like to buy a box of just the one flavor at a good price!</p>

I saw the cocoa but had heard that there was good k-cup cocoa and bad k-cup cocoa and didn’t want to take a chance.</p>

<p>We just purchased the “basic” $149.99 Keurig machine from Costco last week and I’m unhappy with the less-than-ideal coffee temperature. Although it is set to brew at 192 degrees, the actual coffee temperature is only 152 degrees (according to my thermometer). </p>
<p>Anyone else having this issue? I’m ready to return this machine for an upgraded one online.</p>

<p>But first…did you check your menu to see if you have it set for the hottest temp? The default may be lower.</p>
<p>Oh wow…tried the Donut Shop Coconut Mocha this weekend…delightful. It’s not a flavor that I would drink all the time, but it makes for a treat when you feel like one.</p>
<p>There is some variance for coffee temp on Keurigs and I don’t know why. I have the Platinum at home and the Mini Plus for travel. Even tho I have the Platinum set at the highest, the Mini Plus is hotter. The Platinum is hot enough…the Mini Plus is almost dangerously hot.</p>
<p>Ah. Maybe they all come with all the brew-your-own brewers. Mine was given to me by a friend who received it from a former beau and didnt plan to use it, so I wasn’t sure what came with it and what was a separate purchase.</p>
<p>Funny side note-- I spent time with her one day last week last week (drove her to run her errands so she didn’t have to use her gas, bought her some things that she wanted but funds are tight for her, took her out to dinner, opened a nice bottle of wine and served it with cheese/crackers/fruit, etc.) Then in passing she asked if I was using the Kuerig, because she might want it back to give to her son (who works in I banking and makes a fortune). Really? You give it to me as a gift and now, a year or so later you may want it back?</p>
