<p>I haven’t heard anything from UVA since I sent my deposit about 1 and a half weeks ago. Is there a deadline for guaranteed housing? Also, do most roomate requests go through?</p>
<p>Housing is guaranteed for all first years. In fact, I believe they’re required to live on grounds. From what I’ve heard, nearly all roommate requests are OK’d.</p>

To be included in the Random Assignment process, First Year students must complete and submit their application on-line no later than June 16, 2006. This is the only opportunity you will have to make roommate requests. Applications received after this date will be assigned wherever space is available. </p>
