when to apply

I’m applying as a transfer for next fall, and am curious if there is any advantage to applying early (like by Jan. 1st instead of the Mar. 1st deadline). Is it a good idea to just submit everything as soon as I get my fall grades? If there are any successful transfers out there, when did you guys submit your apps?

No. (They don’t start reading till after freshman apps are finished being read, aka mid-April)
No. (Use as much time as you can for your essays/app, but you can send in grades/scores whenever).
Feb 28th by midnight, to give me a full day to fix broken shtuff on my app.

What is the percent of transfer applicants that are accepted?

Thanks, shoebox. vistany- I think 35-40%. This can be a little decieving though, as in-staters have a huge leg up, especially VCC students.

That is much higher than I expected. Any idea what that 35-40% equates to in terms of actual number of transfer students admitte? Would you say 250 or is that too high?
