I see that a lot of ivy league acceptants do research with institutes during the school year. Is there a list of notable ones that I can look at?

The way most students get involved with research is because they know someone. Talk to your teachers or your college counselor and see if they know of any opportunities. Look locally, and see if you can find any internships with research institutes. But remember- the people who get accepted to Ivies aren’t being accepted because they did research. It’s because they were pursuing what they were interested in. If it isn’t research specifically you’re interested in, or there isn’t too much research in the field you are interested in, you can look for other activities that demonstrate passion.
