Can someone direct me to a place where I might find the percentage of UVa students who come from public high schools vs. private? I’m not certain that information is even available to the public. It used to be on Princeton Review a couple of years ago I thought, but I couldn’t find it. My daughter and I were just curious.

[The majority (76%) of our students come from public schools](http://www.web.virginia.edu/IAAS/data_catalog/institutional/data_digest/adm_public.htm).

You can find the stats (and plenty more…maybe more than you would ever want!) on the Office of Institutional Assessment website. Most schools have an office like this…they are the official statisticians.

Hover your mouse over the “Historical Data” and “Data Digest” links in the left menu and the options will pop up.

Thank you so much, Dean J!
