Summer activities throughout high school: photography class, hollins u. summer program, boston u. summer program, writing for an animal newsletter
Honors: Academic Excellence in Sports- 9th grade, Excellence in English Award- 3 years and running, Excellence in Journalism- 11th grade, Quill & Scroll- 11th grade, 1st chair flute- 9th grade, article published in local nes magazine
Alumni- my grandmother and my dad both graduated from UVA</p>
<p>I would argue that nobody should use UVA as their safety school, while it would seem likely that the OP will get in, you should always have a true safety.</p>
<p>welp, dunno…i think you were stupid for doing that, you could’ve gotten burned because I’ve heard of many people getting into Ivies and not UVA. I maintain that it shouldn’t be anyone’s safety.</p>
<p>Stupid for doing that? As an instater, I felt entitled to get in with my stats. Peabody Hall has no business rejecting or WL’ing instaters with stats above a certain level.</p>
<p>i’m not going to make Uva my saftey just because i don’t want to be in a bad situation if i don’t end up getting in. i think i’ll make my saftey VA tech, even though i REALLLLY don’t want to go there!!</p>
