Where Does Uci Stand For You?

I also got UCI with the regent’s scholarship.

I got accepted into UCLA and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get accepted into Berkeley. The thing is, this offer really is too good to pass up. I’m going to sit down and seriously consider it.

This thread really helped convince me to start considering Irvine seriously, thanks!

I’ve been hearing a lot of negativity towards UCI’s Diversity, is it really that bad or is what you make of it?

uscfanatic- it is what you make of it. irvine is more diverse than i’d originally imagined. of course, it dosen’t have students from 200 countries and all over the US, but it’s not a school with 100% asians either.

To answer the diversity question here are the facts from Princeton Review:
Student Body
Enrollment: 19,930
Female: 51%
Out of State: 3%
International: 2%
African American: 2%
Asian: 49%
Caucasian: 26%
Hispanic: 12%
Native American: 0%

Those statistics might be old, as the Princeton Review is rarely on top of things. UCI’s website might be a better place to look.

Here is an interesting article from UCI’s paper:

UCI = University of Chinese Immigrants
University of Civics and Integras
University of Caucasian Isolation

“University of Caucasian Isolation” LOL havent heard that one before
