And the CEO of Lockheed is an Alabama grad.
@Chardo - true, and she’s a she! She is a business admin and economics major running the business!
I agree with Embry-Riddle!
You guys piqued my interest in Auburn aerospace. I went to their merit scholarships page, and links to all of the scholarships are disabled. I wonder if they’re in the process of revising them (probably down)?
@NerdMom88 Scholarships are probably under review right now.
If Auburn’s stay the same as last year, then for an OOS student, the max tuition award is about $16k per year. Their award does not increase as tuition increases each year. I think the OOS tuition is about $26/27k per year.
@mom2collegekids Yeah, I figured that was why it was unavailable. Thanks for the info; we’ll pass on Auburn since D2 has better merit options.
@NerdMom88 - not trying to talk you into Auhurn because they definitely don’t offer the same level of merit money other schools do but this is an article about Auburns part in the Hyperloop program that includes many aspects of engineering by many engineering schools - there is a lot of cool stuff going on out there in engineering all across the country!
Be sure to take a look at Embry-Riddle Prescott. It is an excellent school, with a top notch AE program, and is located in a great area (especially if your daughter likes the outdoors at all).
