My SAT’s aren’t good but I am retaking them in November. my GPA is 2.5 and I’m already on the waiting list for coastal because of my scores. But so far my senior year all my grades are A’s and B’s so if I keep that up throughout the year my GPA should go a little higher and I applied to South Florida Tampa. Would I have a better chance on getting into St. Petersburg instead of Tampa? I’m also an out of state resident.

Average Stats for incoming Freshman at each Campus:

Campus GPA SAT/ACT Number of Freshman
USF 4.0 1770/27 2,932
USF-St. Pete 3.85 1713/26 273
USF-Sarasota 3.78 1653/24 91

So, USF-Sarasota-Manatee has the lowest stats, but it also has the fewest number of students.

Your best bet may be going to a local CC for two years and then transferring. USF accepts more transfers students (4,682 vs. 3,296 this year), than freshman.

Good Luck!
