My gpa isn’t that great. weighted gpa out of 4.3 A+ and .5 for honors is 3.95 currently. and will be about 3.98 by the end of junior year i am guessing.

I am trying to apply to pharmacy schools such as Rutgers pharm etc.

I am taking Ap chem,
H physics,
AP calc BC,
History enriched(regular credit, but much harder, but easier than AP)
Reg Eng
Gym
H Choir

those 7 are set, but as for my 8th class, i am not sure which one to take.
My options are Japanese 2 Honors, or AP gov/consitutional Law. (1 course)

I am Korean and i am fluent in both languages. I am not good with foreign languages and i do not like them as matter of fact. I dropped spanish after 3 because i knew i would do terrible in spanish 4 since i winged most of my spanish 3 tests. In Japanese, i am again, winging most of my tests, and i know i won’t do well in japanese 2 H. ANd it’s not like i will ever speak spanish or japanese. I am not intending to study any foreign language to the point where i can tell peopele that i can speak a 3rd language.

In other hand, I like history or social science, which is ap gov/constitutional law. I’d like to take this class. But the only thing i am concerned is how college admissions will view switching the language and dropping it.

My “excuse” is that the schedule “did not fit” therefore i could not take it cuz my grades in language classes are decent. I would argue “Why would i drop it when i did pretty well in classes?” But i know colleges won’t buy that.

I heard that most colleges require 2 years of same langauge
and recomment 3 years of language. So far i took 2 and 1. (spanish 2, spanish 3) (Japanese 1)

Would 2 and 2 make me look much better to college admissions? or should i take ap gov, the class that i want to take, instead of japanese 2 H?

because if 2 and 2 language doesn’t make much difference to admissions office compared to 2 and 1 language, i would rather take another ap class.

ugh… i am so confused… i don’t know which is better class to take.
I need some advice!!!

thanks
