I’m a senior in high school, aspiring pre-med student/biology major and I was wondering which school campus looks better, also including the dorms. They both have substantial premed programs so my decisions will be based upon which campus is better overall. ALL INSIGHT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED THANK YOU PLEASE.
Note: I’m out of state so it’s hard to tour colleges not in my area that’s why I’m asking from other viewpoints
It’s all personal preference but I know you oos. In my opinion, the dorms at Ucf are super new and nice, never seen the ones at Fsu. Also, the campus at Ucf is very modern with a lot of students but can feel like a commuter school on the weekends. From what I have heard, Fsu is the more campus/college experience feel I know you stated you want to do pre Med, as do I, and I have been told from multiple people not to do pre Med at Ucf due to the large amounts of people all trying to get the same classes and fighting for the same opportunities. However, please do not go by what I am saying! Pick which everyone you think you would enjoy better. I know you didn’t mention it, but usf has the cheapest oos tuition and is very strong in the sciences/pre med. Just something to consider and once again, don’t pick off what I said.
Would you be eligible for HOnors College at either one? That would make a big difference.
