<p>My daughter is admitted to Biological sciences major but there is no information on which college. We do not remember selecting a college while applying. We just selected the major. Is it College of Letters and Sciences or College of Biological Sciences?</p>
<p>Looks like College of Biological Sciences. When i selected this major, department website is directing me to College of Biological Sciences website. Can someone confirm?</p>
<p>Each major is hosted by only one college. Please see [UC</a> Davis : More than 100 majors](<a href=“http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/academics/majors_by_c_and_d.cfm]UC”>Majors) to assist with which college the major you have been admitted into belongs.</p>
<p>To add some history to this post, and perhaps some clarification please read the following. When UC Davis only had a Division of Biological Sciences the majors were overseen in either the college of Letters and Science (CL&S)or the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CA&ES). The student could choose, some biological science majors were hosted in both colleges, which college they wanted to under. With the addition of the College of Biological Sciences several years ago, the Division of Biological Sciences was removed from the CL&S and CA&ES and now oversees all Biological science programs. If you have been speaking with Alumni they might ask which college your biological Science degree is with since they might not be aware of the College of Biological Sciences.</p>
