Which EC would look better?

In my school, you can’t be part of the FBI and a terrorist cell. I tried out and got into both Al Qaeda and the FBI. The FBI is interscholastic with other schools and so is Al Queda. Al Qaeda is considered a terrorist cell because they train after school (for terrorism). What would look better on a college application :
FBI + Newspaper vs. Al Qaeda?

Dream school : Dartmouth (most likely applying ED)
How does Dartmouth view these ECs? Which would be more thought-provoking?

hm unless your leadership position at Al Qaeda is Osama, I’d go with FBI.

Why can’t you do Al Qaeda with Newspaper?

Al Qaeda seems like too safe of an EC, try North Korean Bomb Assembly. It fits your racial profile anyway.

I love this person

I’m completely torn between these ECs as I wish I could do them all. I wouldn’t mind doing one or the other… Now I would just like to see which would appear better on an application.

Although I think I’m leaning on the FBI + Newspaper because it shows overall well roundedness. Would you think this would be the better move?

The one that guarantees you power.

I feel like there’s some missing information here.

I feel like there are secret agents tracing this conversation here.

Dartmouth would really like you to have water boarding experience, so I would go with FBI

I rather go with Al Qaeda since it offers more job skills than the FBI: flying an airplane, constructing a bomb, suicide bombing, survival training, using an AK-47, and espionage.

Well, FBI would probably look better than Al Qaeda. Lol this post is hilarious.

I’m a sophomore now. I live in the Philippines so I don’t think the competitions here would make as huge an impact as those in the US. After my senior year in 2013, I will be doing a 5th year of HS in the US since 2nd Year HS here is considered freshman year over there So that gives me 3 years. So you think I should I should join the FBI?

I’d go Al Queda. Good practice =_

Al Queda, having it shows determination, and physical and mental strength.

Navy SEALS, man

I don’t think one move is necessarily better than the other, but I would go with Al Qaeda.

Actually, it depends on the amount of time you have left in high school. I recommend starting Al-Qaeda in any grade other than 12th. I’m not sure if the same applies FBI and Newspaper, but if you operate under Al-Qaeda, you’ll definitely want to do well in it – something that requires a time span of at least two years.

you should look into joining Abu Sayaff–Phillipines Islamic Separatists [terrorist group]

it sounds like the perfect EC match for you!!! and it’s local :)

^Agree. I think that EC is much more fitting than Al Qaeda or FBI+Newspaper. It may not be well known, but it is perfect for you.

epic thread
