Which is better?

Student A:
SAT I: 2180
SAT IIs: 720, 760, 790

Student B:
SAT I: 2340
SAT IIs: 650, 700, 740

Which has a better chance at an elite college?

um…im going into highschool and im wondering if highschool is hard and is the sat II for biology really hard?
whats the highest you can get on the sat

i just took the earth science regents i got a 95 on it and i got a 97 in the class…can i get into a ivy league college with that and i took math 1h and i got a 99 in the class and i got a 98 on the math1h final im taking the math A regents this year in my freshmen year in january

How is this in any way related to my post?

Obviously you have to work hard in high school to do well… And the Biology exam is only very difficult if you aren’t good at Bio.

Stop obsessing over whether you can get into an Ivy League school, and just do the best you can in high school… Pre-HS grades don’t really matter.

Ugh.

what did you get on the earth science regents

and i would say b is a better student overal cause the sat is most importanat

ya it does i finished earth science the physical setting and i also finished math 1h of math A and that counts to my college

ya it does i finished earth science the physical setting and i also finished math 1h of math A and that counts to my college and did you read of mice and men and the great gatsby and the good earth and davy copperfield cause those are good books i think i need to get into a ivy league college and i read grapes of wrath

Oh my Lord… This is not related to my post!
And I got a 98 on the Earth Science Regents, okay?

Can a sane person respond to my original question please…

you also want to go to harverd so we are in competition to see who will make it , arent we?

so if i had to rate your question B would win

I have no desire to go to Harvard (not Harverd).
I’m not so sure that we’re in competition, being that I’m a rising senior…

And okay, thank you for responding.

the sat II grades arent to promising by the way so if your looking to make it to a good college you got to get at least 760 plus

Student A would get into more selective colleges due to his/her SAT II’s which are seen as more important these days as compared to the SAT 1.

However…

Student B would get more scholarship money because his/her SAT 1 is outstanding…however he/she would probably not get into as many top-notch colleges.

Overall, Student A wins IMHO.

what college do you want to go to anyways?

do the regents help us get into college too,do colleges look at that too?

SAT IIs are more important than the SAT I now?

no student b does it also depends on regents regents are the more important then sat II by the way!

is highschool really easy or really hard cause in college i wana take quantum physics and i want to take astro physics …those are the two classes i wana take
