<p>Maybe niether has the upper hand. Maybe there are other parts of the respective applications which will be far more important in the admissions decision. It’s not so much whether SAT II or SAT I is more important; it’s that beyond a certain point (say ~2100 SAT, maybe 700 SAT II, I don’t know), unless you have 800s across the boards to give that wow factor, the “chances” of both applicants is far more highly sensitive to the rest of the application than test scores.</p>

<p>Blech, this thread didn’t help much, since some claim that it is definitely Student B, and others are saying it’d be Student A.</p>
