Which is the easiest IB exam?

I understand that “easy” is a relative word, but which was easiest for you, SL and HL?

Also, if you could help me with my social studies IB exam choice: I’m not sure whether I should do IB World History SL, History of the Americas HL, or Economics SL. Thanks!

mmk well I heard IB Environmental Systems SL/IB Anthropology SL are easy. I haven’t taken an IB exam yet but I’m taking environmental systems in may…

Oh, I didn’t even know those existed lol. Our school doesn’t offer those courses. I’m guessing they’re social studies related?

IB World History would probably be the easiest.

I’m taking that next year - good to hear that it’s not too difficult!

econ sl is pretty easy.

IB History of the Americas HL is really hard imo. I hate history though. World History is just memorization from what I understand. Econ, in general, is a joke. Especially since it’s considered lower the AP Econ. I would choose either those 2.

IB math studies is the easiest thing ever
my school doesnt even weight it for the gpa

choose economics SL. lots of interesting theories

Geography SL seems easy enough…

Math studies is a joke

Geography and econ SL are both fairly easy

History of the americas is the hardest class at my school

Maths studies is a joke, so is SL…

So overall, in terms of the TEST and the TEST ONLY, is Econ the easiest, world history in between, and History of the Americas the hardest?

I’m interested in taking IB Econ SL (because that’s the only Econ class my school offers) my senior year, but I’ve been hearing that it’s easy, like you are saying. My counselor last year suggested taking AP Econ, because we had that class last year, but this year it’s gone. (And so is my counselor, who’s at an international school now, but that’s irrelevant lol)

If I were to take Econ SL, would colleges look at that and think that I didn’t challenge myself enough? Apart from that, I’ll be taking the toughest classes possible. I’m ambivalent about History of the Americas HL because history isn’t a favorite subject of mine, although I do find it fascinating, but I did do well first semester in PIB US History, which is supposed to be one of the toughest social studies classes at my school…What do you guys think?
