which name sounds better: Joslyn or Jalyn

feel free to comment those names
I need a name for myself ASAP hehe since my real name is so hard to spell and pronounce

So which one do u guys prefer:
Joslyn
Jalyn
Jaelyn
Jalyn
Jaylyn

Legally changing your name?

That’s really stupid.

What’s your real name?

if u dont 'wanna help, thats fine. y calling name like that?
u would wanan change ur name if everytime some1 calls ur name, it sounds like the “f word” or the “s word” in my language.
pls be more polite

I vote for Joslyn.

What is your gender?

The “-lyn” thing is a fad. Why not pick a name with lasting power?

i’m a girl…

um…what name has a lasting power? lol

joslyn. . .

Jaesanne?

But Jaelyn is cool too. :)

Remember, if your name has an unusual spelling it will misspelled and misprounced alot, believe me, I know, I have spent my whole life correcting people, and now I just say, close enough

How does it sound with last name and are your initials okay, like they don’t spell anything funny…

Jalyn

Jalynn

I like Jaelyn

My name is always mispronounced; it dosen’t mean anything bad but it’s quite annoying. I think I’ll stick with it though, not worth all the paperwork. Do you have to legally change your name or can you just have everyone call you by a nickname? I have a friend who doesn’t go by her real legal name.

Yeah, Jaelyn is totally the best spelling and AN AWESOME NAME

I go by my middle name…not my first…but I think it’s like a tradition in my family

Does everyone in your family have the same first name?

A few people in my school went by their middle names, I didn’t find out until the yearbook came out!

Given the above choices, I like Jaelyn the best by far. It’s the name of a little boy I babysit though, which is why I asked.

jaenaenae sounds pleasant to the tongue.

My name is always mispronounced, and I don’t care at all. Not to intrude, but I really suggest you don’t change your name… have you really thought this out? I mean, this is your name from birth.

That said, I would prefer Joslyn.

It depends on what it sounds like when it is mispronounced though-- if it sounds like a really bad word, I wouldn’t blame you.

My name sounds like a silly appliance when people mispronounce it soo…

Well, since she said the mispronunciation sounds bad only in her native language. . . I don’t know, but I don’t see that as a big deal. Whatever though.

lol but like i said…some ppl pronounce my name like the “f word” in english and the “s word” in my language.

My name is supposed to be pretty in my language, but americans can’t pronounce it right… even my friends w/ same ethnics keep mispelling my name!

I can’t use my middle name cuz it’s a boys name and it literally means male (iono y) My last name is Vo…

If i change my name legally, i will have my first native name as my middle name so i’m not really erasing anything.
