which pool does a student with h-4 student compete in?

<p>they (Umich and Maryland) said</p>

<p>only students with J-1 and H-1 visa will be regarded as international students.</p>

<p>Michigan didn’t say anything about H-4 but Maryland said H-4 doesn’t </p>

<p>as an international student.</p>

<p>So, my question is, will i still compete in international pool even though i have h-4 visa?</p>

<p>H-4 is the visa for dependents of workers who hold H-1. Normally you fall into the international category. However, in some states you might be considered domestic if you have lived and/or studied there for a certain number of years.</p>
