Hi! I am an Indian student who is planning to apply to Princeton next year. My SAT Score is 1380 with 21/24 in the essay in my 1st attempt and 1540 with 15/24 in the essay for my 2nd attempt. Since the essay score for my 2nd attempt isn’t that good, should I send both my scores or not bother with the essay and just send my 2nd score. Also, some of the schools that I am applying to don’t require the essay so, can I send my SAT scores without my essay scores.
I don’t know why the post says in Nepal. Can I fix that?
Some schools require all the scores to be sent to them. I believe Princeton is one of them - so you will have to send both scores.
I don’t think it’s possible to send SAT scores without essay scores - College Board sends both together. Don’t worry though - schools that don’t require the essay won’t really look at them, and even if they did, it wouldn’t have a negative impact at all.
Don’t worry too much about the essay - it’s not given much importance.
