2-Cal State University Northridge 33-35k/year
3-Cal State University LA 33-35k/year
Thoughts?

uh, whichever provides better education?

Why are they all state university? Can you afford them?

I want opinions on which provides the best education. Yes I can. What do you mean why are they all state universities?

@Mike350 Hey there, I am a US student who will be going to go to WSU. I am going there for their aerospace engineering program, which sounds fantastic. I have no idea about the other two schools. Finance looks like it is in the Frank Barton School of Business, which overall ranks 11th in the USA. Wichita is a nice sized town, biggest one in Kansas, (though that isn’t saying a heck of a lot) about 380,000 people. I’ve visited WSU and it is very nice. It’s a medium sized school (~11,000 undergrads.) They have brand new dorms that are very nice. There’s A LOT of industry in WSU. They’re having a thing called innovation campus or something, and a lot of businesses are going to be building locations right on the campus. Airbus is one of them, which is great for me as an AeroE major.

Don’t know much about Finance, but I can give you more details on the campus and such. Might I ask how you came across and decided to apply to WSU? PM me for more details (click my username then click message.) Go Shox!

I’d pick Cal State Northridge. It’s roughly the same level as Wichita State, but the environment is better as is the weather - you’re in Southern California, close to Hollywood, just North of Los Angeles (with easy bus and metrolinks stops to downtown LA). That beats Wichita in my opinion.

All of the universities that you have listed are funded by the state. That means they are public universities that the taxpayers fund.

I would also pick the California schools but the cost will be high, given the tuition and room and board.

I say Wichita beats Southern California any day (and yes, I have been in both.) I guess it depends on if you want to breathe smoggy air or not and whether you want to live in a HUGELY populated area or a reasonably sized one.

@MYOS1634 What does Hollywood have to do with anything?

It’s just a cool area to visit if you want to go off campus. Just hop on a public transportation means of your choice or get your car.
I know you chose Wichita from OOS for yourself and it’s a big city in Kansas, but… Kansas just doesn’t compare to Southern California and LA in terms of what’s going on, weather, etc. And I do like snow and bright skies from the Upper Midwest.

Since they are all not too recognizable, I would say a degree from all of them will count equally. Therefore go on other aspects, such as location or activities.
