Anyone hear an actual decision before March 9th?
Glad to see that I’m not the only person obsessively looking for updates on here. I do remember reading from past interns that once you are excepted (or conditionally excepted) you are asked to not make any posts on sites like this…

I had an interview a little while ago that I thought went great but haven’t received DR forms yet. Obviously there’s a of time left, so I’m not quite nervous yet.
This forum seems to be a lot quieter this time around than in the past. I know no one would’ve received an acceptance yet, but has anyone else had an interview or gotten DR forms, or both?

for anyone that has submitted DR forms for summer 2015 - did you get a confirmation email confirming they received them? i know in years past people have gotten a confirmation, but I did not get one this year when i submitted mine.
I have not received a confirmation email. I am just guessing they got all of the DR forms. Anyone else?

Has anyone ever heard of other people getting accepted even if they haven’t been contacted at all (I have had no DR, no interview) before the March 9 week? I’ve heard many saying that no contact doesn’t mean no, and I’ve also heard that DR no interview or interview and no DR doesn’t mean a no, but does a significant portion of applicants get accepted without getting DR or interview before the original notification week? And/or should I just move on betting against having any chance of getting in at this point?
@screen8888 I don’t think anyone can really answer that question for you. Each year seems to be different and the only people that know whats really going on are the people working in the WHIP office. Glass half full!
I don’t think the March 9 deadline has any weight on your chances quite yet. When I interviewed I was told the deadline is extremely flexible.

Applied, had an interview, and sent in security forms with no confirmation they were recieved. Haven’t heard anything today. Where are people getting the March 9th date from?
7Steps its from the White House website. Throughout confirmation emails and descriptions of how the process would go they very vaguely said “decisions will be announced March 9th on a rolling basis”. From what people have been saying, it looks like “rolling basis” could be over the course of a month through some of April. It seems to be on a departmental level
Does anyone know if they send us an email as soon as they deny us starting this week?
In the past it seems to have been done in batches, some denied in first week, some denied a week later, 2 weeks later, and so on. Same with acceptances. Pretty nerve wracking process haha

This is pretty ridiculous haha. If I weren’t so busy with everything going on I’d probably go crazy mulling over this internship application.
It’s good to hear other’s are playing the waiting game as well… I applied, was interviewed, and sent in security documents but I want to know already! I’ve started stalking my email as of yesterday, i’m too impatient.
I was reading some post from the past. Comparing dates from this spring to this summer it seems like some people got AEP forms one week after the start of the notification date. Anyone know what AEP forms are?
