Who actually thinks they aren't the "cliche" CCer?

I dare you to speak proper english. /]e /[s/ep \o//\o/\o/\o

no! no hablo en ingles.

¿hablas en francés?

no I speak Mars and you will soon be banned .

Everyone’s PSAT is higher than mine -_-. Mine was a 150.

why i would gget banned for gr? \o/! =-o!

Because honey, you stuttered.

awe. how tragic. :(

my gr, what a lame reason. :</p>

Hmm… well I come on this forum and I’m completely jealous of everyone here. Either great grades/test scores, or great EC’s… I’ve got decent on both, but still not the ‘stellar CCer’

Background: Current Senior, Asian American (with dual citizenship), English third language, Headed to the University of Washington fall 2010

GPA 3.82 UW
ACT 33
SAT 2060

^Definitely above the average “American” but against CCers? I’ll think again before challenging one to a ‘random SAT question of the day’ competition or something

EC?
Club leader in a cultural club, I play varsity tennis, chess, and knowledge bowl for school. I play tennis for two outside teams. Did debate team but stopped to spend more time on my ‘varsity sports’ (yes, i consider chess and knowledge bowl = sports). I’m in NHS, and through that, tutor students grades 9-12 in AP Calc, AP Bio, and AP Comp Sci. I volunteer at my church, and a hospital. Did technology stuff but not a lot.

^Nothing like state champs, national champs, eagle scout (i’m a girl :D), winner of the national engineering competition, and such but more of the ‘in the community’ type extra currics

What doesn’t go into my EC’s to my apps is my hours and hours of playing xbox, wii, and nintendo gameboy… O_O watching TV, being online…

Although I am happily highly ranked in some xbox games  Colleges probably wouldn’t have liked that.

I have been first place in every flash game I played. Boxhead is one example. They got lost with the cheaters who had 133700000000 points…

Why does everyone play sports? -cry-
I play NONE. Seriously. I run once in a while, but that’s it.
Aargh!

I am definitely not the typical CCer. Firstly, I did not get 700+ on all the sections of the SAT. Secondly, I am not taking any AP classes. Thirdly, I did not take any science class in High School (my school has a system where it possible to completely substitute science with social science or humanities or business courses).

I have a 550 on the SAT math section.

Never mind anything else, that pretty much puts me out of the running.

you’re not alone. I got a 560 on Math. :P

My sense of humor is dark, and I’m not afraid to say something negative/mean if it’s what I believe.

I’m not lazy when it comes to school work.

I also smoke cigarettes.

My sat score is not above a 2200. i guess i’m not a true ccer. ='[

Mine isn’t either (got a 2120 sophomore year). I’m hoping that the January SAT will be kind to me.

i didnt qualify for national merit at all but i do have 2200+ SATs … go figure hahah
I havent lived my whole life for college but always wanted good grades … which my ECs and course load show unfortunately for the admissions process
I have never discovered a cure for a disease and i do not play the harp
I go out and party on weekends, the majority of my friends arent like me, i HAVE A LIFE more than “listening to music, watching movies, and reading” hah

I’d say i’m about 50%

I am not Ivy League destined.
However, I am smart because I made my college decision over a 40 year decision rather a 4 year one :P

i am so cc i’m not cc anymore.

lolol, clique CCer? What does that mean? The bucktoothed, crazy-haired, shirt-wearing, braces-bearing, hyperactive, anti-social nerd who spends 23 hours 47 minutes 38 seconds and 34 milliseconds on CC each day? :)
