What percentage of the eligible students in your school actually go to prom? We have a Jr/Sr combined prom and nearly exactly half (50%) of the juniors and seniors attend.
Do some “culture” groups in the school go more than others?
For ours, the Thespians do not miss a chance to dress up and go out…
My school also has a combined prom. I know that this year more than half of the seniors are going, but I don’t know exactly what percentages from each grade do. The way I’m interpreting culture groups, I’d say no for my school. People go if they want, and just go with friends and not so much in defined groups.
At my school, there is one prom for seniors and about 70% of students go.
We have prom for seniors + their dates, and around 85% go.
We have a junior prom and senior prom. 75% of Juniors go to Junior prom.
99.9% of seniors go to Senior prom.
Both are made too big of a deal.
My school has a junior prom and a senior prom. I’d say 25% of the school goes to Junior Prom, because so many juniors are dating seniors, sophomores, even freshmen.
Last year our Senior prom was at the Basketball Hall of Fame (sooo cool!) so they make it a big thing and nearly every senior goes.
We have a junior prom and a senior ball; around 60% of juniors go to junior prom, and around 90% of seniors go to senior ball (+ all the people who aren’t in that class). Our proms are huge deals; the venues are really fancy/nice (like, Cal Academy of Sciences one year for seniors, and stuff like that) and tickets are around $150 (which is probably one of the main reasons not everyone goes to junior prom) and stuff.
Seriously?! How many students in the Senior class?
A lot of people go to prom; nearly everyone, if not everyone
There were DECA and We the People conflicts with prom so for us (this is jr/sr prom), maybe 60% Seniors attend?
We have an all grade prom since we’re such a small school. I think around 2/3 of the school went. I don’t know what percentage of seniors attended.
Quality of prom varies from year to year, as a pair or juniors organize everything (they get a budget and have to get a venue, food, entertainment, etc).
