Who else hates Apple and VW ads?

<p>You are aware that those are just speakers made by a different company, JBL, right? The only speakers Apple makes is the big iPod speaker. </p>

<p>I myself can’t use Windows, even tough i’m forced to right now. I tried Vista and found it to be just XP with a pretty skin.</p>

<p>Prodigy? We had Prodigy on a monochrome monitor back in 1990 with a 1200 bps modem. </p>

<p>Macs and mac products seem to run smoother, but what someone said about monopoly over Mac products is very true. I ran into these issues with my IPod as Itunes software is horrible and the way you cannot transfer songs from one computer to another is complete BS. That is why I barely use my IPod.</p>

<p>Oh, and you can transfer songs from one computer to another. You just have to be savvy…</p>

<p>For me, the premium was running Mac OS X, by far. My family used to be die-hard Dell users (well, I’m Asian afterall), but Windows XP just drove me crazy! The stupid thing kept locking up, etc. So finally, I decided to buy a Mac. I haven’t regretted at all since, and there is NO way I am switching back to Windows/PC.</p>

<p>Granted, they’re somewhat pricey (my 17" PowerBook was $3,000), but ultimately worth it. The stuff I’ve been able to do with it has more than enough covered the cost to buy it, and by far the sexiest laptop on the market. In fact, my parents were so impressed with my PB, that I’m proud to say I’ve “switched” my entire family to Macs. 1 Mac Pro, 1 iMac G5, 1 MacBook Pro, 1 PowerBook G4 (mine). And on the Mac Pro and MBP, we’re running Mac OS X and Windows XP. </p>

<p>Nevertheless, I’ve been ostracised from the rest of my asian family for being “wierd” and “different” and using a mac. Honestly, so VERY hilarious. </p>

<p>And I can’t wait till I get into college… 15" MacBook Pro with edu discount!</p>
