I, unfortunately, have not, but my sister badly cut her finger when she was in 3rd or 4th grade.

Also, if you have ever RUN with scissors, what were the effects?

Lol, my neighbor friend cut his finger pretty badly with safety scissors in grade school. He had to go to the emergency room. He also swallowed a safety pin when he was a baby, and has a faint scar on his throat because of it.

Apparently, they’re not so safe.

Hahaha, I love that they’re all “safety” supplies that he hurt himself with.

I haven’t. I always wonder how the kids in my class used to staple their fingers in the closed stapler, though.

i cut my thumb when i was washing the scissors.

Emo thread is emo.

I feel the pain.
Ewwwwwwww

I’ll make a story right now: Friend’s cousin arrived from another country. Completed 5 years of English. One time accidentally cut himself with a scissor on one of the fingers. Took 2 months to replenish the skin. Went to a community for a year and half. Got GPA up… end up attending Brown. haha…

I once stapled my finger, I could even see the staple beneath my nail, the sad thing is that I kind of did on purpose to see what would happen. I also once stepped on a rake to see if it really would hit me in the head (ya know like in the cartoons), it does and yes I saw stars and birds.

What can I say, I am a curious person. Yet I have never ran with sissors.

exhale here is my story:

this year, last semester.

I was chillin’ in my history teacher’s class, talkin’ to friends, class is already over. My teacher all of a sudden kind of raises his voice at one of the students. He says “Aaron, If I find out you took something or did something I will give you detention.” Everyone turns and stares. Aaron’s hand is on his neck, his face flushes. We walk into the hallway once the bell rings and Aaron takes his hand off of his neck, his neck is gushing blood!!! I almost throw up and then they explain that Aaron had cut Ben’s hair with my teacher’s scissors n’ Ben got mad and stabbed him in the neck twice leaving two holes. No one realized this happened til’ class was over. Later, Aaron and Ben were called to the principal’s office(word spreads fast) and they didn’t even get suspended! They both got after school detention. names were edited

^ haha @corey!!

I did that whole staples thing in first grade. At first it was an accident and then it seemed kind of fun (I was six years old!). All fun stopped however when my friend laughed at my stapled fingers and accidentally poked me in the eye. hmm. rough childhood.

trumpetgrl i think your story wins…

yeah, that was sooo weird. I wuz soo freaked out, I have no idea how we didn’t realize any of it. i get cold chills up my spine when I think about it

so the kid was just sitting all through class with a bleeding neck? poor buddy!

…as for my scissor story…for some reason I always used th crappy plastic ones until like
sixth grade.

I hated those scissors because they didn’t work! they always folded my paper. It was easier to fold and tear.

No one deserves to get stabbed with scissors, but don’t think this kid is all nice either. He knows how to get under people’s skin. And he didn’t sit through the whole class with a bleeding neck. He was standin’ beside the wall talking with a bleeding neck for about 4 minutes.

Seriously! Those scissors are wasted plastic!

and yea, they should have gotten more than a detention…soemthing seriously bad could’ve happened…like an innocent bystander caught in the crossfires…anger management!

wow! I would never cut my own hair, lol. I don’t trust myself.

they are wasted plastic!

lol.(at the last middle comment)

oops! i thought it was a ■■■■■■■■ thing to say so I deleted it. thanks though!

I shouldn’t have done it either. It was so uneven, everyone laughed, but i was kinda glad that actually did that on my own…eh oh well =]

slit my finger open with scissors in class during the 5th grade. Cried and cried and cried. First time I realized blood terrified me.

im scared. this thread gives me bad pictures. me be more careful

My brother ran around in the house with scissors recently. It was a joke. Nobody got hurt.
