So a 10points I is like a B or B-?

Yeah…

Uh oh!!! :O

windy214 - I don’t think you need to worry about your acceptance being taken away from you. Just keep your grades at C’s and above and you will be fine!!

Hahaha my mama would woop my ass if I got a C. So we dont need to worry about that

Hahah I’m right there with you windy I woul get my butt kicked if I got a c

haha mine’s the same way. i told her i might try out a C on my report card since I’ve never gotten one before…?
just the experience of it seems interesting. haha.

SO basically after all these posts about if rejections will come later or not, I came up with an idea… my friends who were rejected from other schools this year got theirs the same day as everyone else (this was through email)… Why would NYU do any different?

^ I agree with itstime. I mean what would be the point of separating the emails?

If they separated them thats their way of f#!@ing with us!!!

i don’t know if they will actually separate them this year, being that it a new system, sent first by email exclusively… perhaps this year it will be all at once.

I don’t like being a guinea pig year D:

I swear every minute goes by slower and slower!

I just hope they get it over with at once! If not, they are gonna have to deal with calls saying I didnt get an email, etc… soooo… lets do this guys!
So excited/scared/hopeful/pessimistic/optimistic hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

I don’t feel like doing homework these days…

Guys, the system would probably overload and fail if they sent out decisions all in one go. They have to send it out in batches.

Yep, that is what happened in a number of colleges where all the students for the various colleges started pouncing on their college email links and many students reported hours of futile attempts to get into the site to find out their status.

I do not remember NYU being one of the schools. However, I was not following the action since sonny had been accepted by March. I hope NYU’s computer program can take a lot more volume than other colleges (for instance Yale for last year).

but its not a link to a decision letter. it could be different. my friend was accepted last year and she got emailed the actual letter. there wasnt a link that took her to here decision. its just a emailed letter

itsme33,

No, itsme, the other schools had the applicants logging in to the ACTUAL emailed decision letter, but there was so much traffic people could not even log in. Took hours for applicants of some colleges to finally get through to read their emailed decision letter (actual letter).

What I meant by email links (inputting ID#, PIN/ password, whatever, which then led to the decision letter) was the link after logging into the school site. Many could not even log in, e.g., error messages or no ability to get the any pages whatsoever. I should have phrased this part better.

i was just saying what my friend had from NYU last year. i guess i was wrong sorry for the misunderstanding

800th post
