Everyone has an accent. It’s just a question of which one. There are about a dozen different accents within the US and even more within the UK.

I speak with a west coast US accent, but my sister speaks with a southern US accent because we lived in those respective places when each of us was learning English.

I have a faint trace of a Swedish accent, but most people claim not to notice. (I do, just 'cause I’m self-conscious.)

I can’t really put your finger on how it sounds like.

I don’t think I will ever understand people with full Indian accents. But I love how the language itself sounds. I also can’t understand Chinese people with really big chinese accents who talk really realy really fast in english

I have an Indian friend who puts on a thick Indian accent when she talks to her parents, but speaks flawless American with friends. It’s pretty incredible.

I have an Indian accent but no one seems to have any problems understanding what I say so it OK :p

As long as you’re not the damned queen everyone has an accent…
