<p>i guess the ways i might gauge how curious someone is are
(a) how open you are to new experiences; how much time you spend learning things you do not know and seeing things you haven’t seen.
(b) how much you know and have done (because why would you know so much if you weren’t curious about it?)
(c) how willing you are to set aside your preconceptions of the world and absorb the ideas of others; how well you understand what other people say. this is a measure of openness to new ideas and reflects a curious conversation style. also, how many questions you ask.</p>
<p>the other thing is everyone is curious about different things. some people are very curious about one or two subjects and decidedly uncurious about everything else. some people are a little curious about everything. which “counts” more? that is up to your own definition.</p>
