Who is watching Carpool Karaoke with James Corden?

Somebody must be on this board because these are great.

I think this is the latest one.

I am super impressed with James Corden…the other people in the cars are pretty good too.

I really like the one where Clooney calls Julia Roberts and she only decides to participate when she hears Stefani is there. So they pick her up.

I don’t watch it religiously but have seen quite a few. I like James Corden’s vibe. He comes across not only as funny but very approachable and charismatic in that British “guy next door” way.

I love them! I posted the Broadway one in the Hamilton thread.

I like them too! I tend to watch them when they come up in my FB feed. I agree that he seems like a nice guy and not too full of himself.

I’ve only seen the one with Adele. Not only was he hysterically funny, so was she!

Corden seems like such a genuine fan of the people he has on; he has a good voice, too. I think a lot of stars are catching on that taking a ride with James goes a long way in bringing them down to earth and closer to the fans–I know I generally have a more favorable impression of the “stars” after seeing them answer silly questions and sing songs from way back in the day that maybe they are sick of singing. But James is so excited to sing along with them it makes it fresh again.

I know I have come away with a more favorable impression of some singers I didn’t care much for after seeing them carpool.

@bearpanther,

I did not like Adele. I used to tell my daughter to turn the channel on the car radio when one of her songs was played on the radio.

Then I saw Adele sing with James and joke with James and now I am a big car Adele fan.

So you are right!

I like the George Clooney one too…but he isn’t a singer.

One Direction and Chris Martin before the Super Bowl are my favs. I even almost liked Justin Bieber in them. They are clever and just funny.

What we liked about the George Clooney one (besides seeing him sing B-A-N-A-N-A-S) was that he said his favorite lines were from O Brother Where Art Thou?, which is one of my H’s favorite movies.

So are these all on Youtube or do I have to tape his show?

I think they are all on YouTube. Some of my FB friends are saying the Broadway one is the best, but I am still leaving Adele in my personal first place and Broadway stars come in 2nd. A couple of times near the end of the spring semester when frustration was growing, I had to pull up the Adele one on one of my monitors while I graded on the other

@Wellspring, I linked the Broadway stars and Adele in the first post. I saw the rest on youtube.

The Adele one has over 100MM views on YouTube!

Here is One Direction.

I usually watch them when they come up on my FB feed…but you are making me want to go seek some more out!

Anyone seen his crosswalk Broadway shows? Those are pretty funny too!

I love the Broadway one with LMM and Audra McDonald , etc. Will have to google Adele.

Adele is in the first link in the first post.

The Broadway one is in the second link in the first post.

Thanks, dstark.

Just found crosswalk Broadway! I thought he would be doing it in someplace like Times Square, but this looks like a busy street without any sidewalk traffic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wlLwFnqzEo - This is doing “Grease”
