Who wants to play "name the puppy"?

My family used to name cats after alcoholic beverages. We had Daiquiri and Tia Maria.

Right now I’m wanting to change our puppy’s name to something not so cute - he has now eaten two pairs of my reader glasses, one pair of my husbands, and as of today, totaled my bi-focal prescriptions.

UGH!!!

^^
“Lucifer”? :)

coureur, we call our collie, “Ranger the Wonder Dog,” as in “I wonder where he went?” He takes off all the time. He’s 11 1/2 and a trooper to put up with our 9-month-old Australian shepherd, Foster. Foster is constantly nipping at his nose and barking at him. Ranger snarls at him and wags his tail at the same time! I call them the Bobbsey Twins.

Bookworm came up with my first thought - Molasses.

How about Raven, Ember, Onyx. Or bring in a name meaning black, dark, etc. in a language from your ancestors.

I like Bella, Buzz, although that would be better for a boy. Is there something in where she is coming from? I named my dog after the state he came from.

LOL we have pets (that we adore and love) with great names but most of the time one responds to “stupid” and the other responds to “dumba**”.

Hive. In keeping with the bee theme.

Ella
Blackjack
Eli
Lucy
Bebe (bee bee? Get it?)
Sasha
Stella
Sage

Razzy
Jade
Libby
Tibby

Willa
Rosie
Josie

For a while, our pup thought his name was “dam*it sabadog”. We’ve passed that stage now that he’s not destroying rolls of tp.

Bunny. Honey & Bunny would be funny!

I like Bea as in Aunt Bea or Beatrice. Or of Romana and Beezus fame, just Beezus. I have a white standard poodle and she just adores me. Best animal in the world.

If it hasn’t been said yet…Beauregard. Beau for the French poodle…and Beauregard for the English side.

I like the previous suggestion of Abbyits not so obvious a reference

Our dog trainer on the most used name (at least in the dogs’ mind) BadDog!!!

Awwww. We have a 5-month old goldendoodle puppy and are totally in love. The sweetest dog ever!

I vote for Bee or Abby (a bee) to go with Honey.

Enjoy your pup!!!

My favorite suggestion is Bee. Love the name combo. Plus it’s easy to say.

I know someone who named her dogs D.O.G. (pronounced dee-o-gee) ad C.A.T (pronounced see-ay-tee).
