<p>I’m addicted. Does anyone know where the students are going for college? </p>
<p>I read that Amanda, editor-at-large, is going to NYU and Alex is going to Penn State.</p>
<p>I do and those are both correct. Giana is also going to the University of Florida, from what I read.</p>
<p>ahhh my entire school is obsessed with that show. its filmed at cypress bay high, which is in the town next to me. so its pretty cool to see a lot of my friends like walking around in the backround.</p>
<p>^^Cool Courtney!! From what you know, is the show fairly real or is it loosly scripted like The Hills? I hate the way Alex and his crew are ganging up on Amanda.</p>
<p>Oh my gosh I love this show. I thought it was dumb until I wanted it for the first time. Now I’m addicted :)</p>
<p>I don’t, but I do watch the Showtime show that “Reaper” is a blatant rip-off of–“Dead Like Me.” It’s off the air now but I have the DVDs. It is 50X better than anything Reaper could ever be, although it’s the same basic premise.</p>
<p>I love The Paper, haha. I wish there were more episodes.</p>

three days grace, one of them got taped a bit for it…he had to walk up a hallway 3x to get the “perfect take” so I think it’s that they might have real convos, but probably re-do all of them</p>

<p>That show is ridiculous. I love it because it’s great to see the workings of an award-winning paper, but it’s so dramatic! Plus, I’ve never seen a newspaper staff with that many people. Obviously the school is huge but still.
I agree that Amanda shouldn’t have to deal with all the crap they give her, but as editor-in-chief, she’s not exactly the “leader” type.</p>

<p>So much drama! I feel sorry for Amanda. She has to deal with a bunch of ******* sore losers.</p>
<p>First off, “The Circuit” is not “award-winning.” MTV painted them out to be this great paper, but if you look at their awards and on the JEA website, they don’t do anything when it comes to national recognition. The only reason their staff is so dramatic is because they can be–they have a staff of 70+ students. My staff is dramatic, too, but we get over ourselves and put out the paper we have to put out…with only 20 kids, it’s a lot harder.</p>
<p>I watch the show occasionally. It’s relatively close to me and some local places nearby have been featured…like when they went to Laser Quest, that is REALLY close to my house and I have a friend that works there, or when Adam went to see HSM at the Bank Atlantic Center, which even closer to me. It’s an interesting show, but it just seems so dramatic to just be about a high school newspaper. Now what they really need is a show about robotics teams…</p>
