Congrats yeezy!! Thansk guys for the luck on my re app. Quick question for all the people that did reapply. How did you guys change your essays? I can’t see myself drastically adapting my why transfer essay as my reason still stands. Do they keep your essays on file and compare it with the new one?

Also what about recommendation letters? Can we still use the same one?

Yes, same rec letters worked, I altered my essay to include the sad experience of having been accepted but unable to go due to finance.

Emine, yeah, I got that email too. I’m so PUMPED for orientation.

Congrats yeezy!

Ironic / Water, did the email come to your @cornell addresses, or your application emails?
I haven’t gotten anything, but I also haven’t received my acceptance package yet, or a NetID.

Congrats to everyone!!! I am so happy for those accepted to CU & other places.
We have soooooo much SNOW!! Usually we don’t get much b/c we’re very close to the Ocean.
If we have a snow day on Tuesday, my chem prof said that everyone will get a 100 for their final grade!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!!
Let’s all meet at CU, before our orientation begins!!
:)

tfn, i changed almost everything between my first and second times applying. i still have all of my essays, so if you want to see what i mean, i can send you all of them. i got new recs letters, though one of the people who wrote me them wrote me one the first time as well, but she updated it with all of my new info/stats/ECs.

molly, we are definitely meeting up before orientation, don’t worry!!! i’ll be up there on jan 15 staying at one of the frat houses so i’ll get everything ready for you guys haha

canada, it came to my cornell e-mail

cheers ironic

where does my net id go to? my confirmed email? i dont know how to get to my cornell email? do i need anything for that? i think i do? BAHHH i have no idea whats going on

your cornell email is your netid@cornell.edu so if you don’t have your netid yet, you won’t get it. you can set up your cmail account when you activate your netid.

obviously, nobody had anything to say lol.

I got something, going to the mall this time of year is a terrifying experience. I will have nightmares today !!!

ironic, sure please send me your essays as I am really unsure of how I would go about changing them.

Congrats everyone again. I hope to see you guys next fall.

i wonder where everyone is…

Well, everyone from the north east is shoveling snow!!!
Nite-nite everyone!!

We were off the first page? Unacceptable. Haha, cramming for my last final. Hope you guys have an awesome xmas break. Any questions, comments, new acceptances, issues with reapplying, or just plain fun statements can and should be made over on the Spring Transfer 2010 facebook group.

Can’t wait for January!

highest grade in my stats class, pwned. i still dont know if they ever received any of my deposit? how long do they usually take to get me a net id?

It took them a little over a week to send me mine. You can check and see if yours was created.
