<p>So, I’m from California, and I’m applying for 2010 Fall admission to Berkeley and UCLA. (In case I don’t get into Cornell. The app’s are due November 30th…)</p>
<p>So, now, the UC’s will give me my decision on Berkeley and UCLA before ever seeing my spring semester transcripts… Little do they know, that I would not be finishing up at my California Community College during spring, but instead, at Cornell.
So, if I somehow get into Cornell for the spring, but for some god awful reason couldn’t stay out in New York at this time next year, (family issues) and was only able to stay this one spring semester, do you think I could still go to Berkeley or UCLA in the fall? Or do you think the admissions would accept me… then finally ask for my final spring grades, see Cornell and be like WHAT?</p>
<p>I’m not sure if that made ANY sense at all…</p>
<p>Regardless, Cornell is where I want to be don’t get the wrong idea… just thinking out loud</p>

<p>Stryke & Transf…I am so sorry about the letters you both received. Your GPA’s are phenomenal. I would call admissions & ask them what they recommend you should do,if you decide to re-apply for Fall. I would also visit them in the Spring and Summer. Don’t be a PITA, just let them remember you, fondly. Please let me know what happens.
Otafu & Serend… Last year, I was accepted as a freshman, into Rutgers biomedical engineering. I loved the tour, meeting the researchers, & knew that if I enrolled, I would never leave. I decided to take the CC route and apply to Cornell & Gtown (rejected!!)
I was going to apply to MIT this Spring, but, was offered a GT for Humec and decided that I liked Cornell campus much more than MIT…& came to the realization that MIT would probably reject me!!

<p>As long as you are taking a comparable courseload to what you indicated on your UC app, they won’t care where you take your courses. That being said, you’d be crazy to skip out of Ithaca, assuming you can swing the financial aspects of the experience.</p>
