Who's applying for Spring transfer 10'-Cornell?

From what I hear, AEM is a pretty tough major to gain acceptance into. Even still, sorry to hear that snail.

And Lacey’s mom has got it going on :)

If she looks anything like Lacey, which I think is required, then yes, yes she most certainly does

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

i told maclen that my mom creeps the CC thread.

she’ll enjoy that 100%

oh, and my condolences to all those rejected… honestly, try again because everyone here is an outstanding applicant.

<333

OMG everybody…I feel so sorry. Everybody was a very competitive applicant, and most importantly great people.

I just got back home from my classes and saw this ridiculousness. I mean so many…today didn’t seem to be a good day for CC. How could this be possible…T_T

Well so I’m the last one that hasn’t heard back then (CALS) I guess will hear very soon probably. I live in GA…so…far away

i’m sorry to everyone who got rejected. when i was rejected for the fall, i cried for days and days. best of luck for fall if you’re reapplying. i learned a lot about myself and about what i wanted from cornell between my 2 times applying, so i’m sure there’ll be a growth process and your essays will come out banging next time. lots of hugs

my rejection letter said the same thing as azu’s. i wonder who writes the one all-around rejection letter and who writes the acceptance letters. hmm.

i think i want to be an admissions officer when i grow up.

Valvsu, good luck…You’re the last of CALS (I think)…
I am indeed feeling very depressed right now, blargh. I feel much less confident about next round’s of applications, but hopefully the feeling will wear off and I’ll be back on my feet again soon…
Lol, we should all compare rejection letters.

Ironic, me too!!! So rethinking being a lawyer lol

I still wanna be a lawyer no matter what lol

I wanna be a paleontologist :)

I’ve always thought that being an admissions officer would be…an experience. I might look into that myself. But only for Cornell…I couldn’t do it anywhere else. I wonder what it takes to be in admissions? (not my dream job exactly, but it’d be…different.) But I wanna be a geneticist.

Azu, you especially HAVE to come visit us OMEGA so we can flaunt you to admissions. Not to mention it might give you the spark you need to put in a reapplication essay. And you’re going to rock out on the next round of apps, no question.

Lest us not forget that ziiam is also CALS (Biology), so it’s him and valvsu left to hear. It’s down to the wire now…I’m hoping Cathy has some yes’s up her sleeve for my buds, and I’m praying I wasn’t like…the last accepted kid to hear.

Oh…and Mrs. Lacey’s mom, I’ve been told I have the voice of a 27 year old. Just throwin’ that out there.

east, nice to meet you Ross

if any of you watch Friends…u know!

Well I don’t just want to be a lawyer but a Civil Rights lawyer. =) Still if somebody offered me the opportunity of working for the application season as an admissions officer. I will so totally take it. I am completely intrigued by the whole psych and mystery aspect lol

That, and I wanna know the secrets behind judging admissions.

I actually thought about Friends after making that post.

man, what a day… I really feel bad for all the ppl who got rejected since we all know how bad all of us wanted to get in. Sometimes, admissions can be weird rejecting competitive ppl, but hopefully, you guys will make it next semester. From my experience, I can tell that my essays were a huge part of my application. Do some research and mention some facts about Cornell, quote them if necessary; in that way, you will show admissions that you have the spirit and passion for Cornell.

Good luck people, do not be down eventhough it is hard. We all know you can make it

I wanted to be a geographer/explorer. That ended in 3rd grade when my teacher politely showed me a full map, explaining there wasn’t anything left to explore. I was quite disgruntled by this.

And don’t tell me ‘space!’ because becoming an astronaut is freaking difficult, lol. Seriously, do you know how much physics they take!?

I’ve noticed that everytime I post something, there’s silence like for about an hour lol . Btw, does anyone here has eco/finance interest? I’m terrible with names, and i don’t even remember the screen name of the other person accepted in AEM. If you are reading this, do you know what will your concentrations be? I’ve read that you can only choose up to 2, but If you see the embassadors profile(in aem website), you will notice that some have 3. Do you know the real number of concentrations you can have?

We were discussing careers, you can join in, lol.

Actually…now that we’re 9-4

calpoly (CALS) Viticulture and Enology
Foshodub (CALS) Biological Sciences
accmajor (CALS) AEM
Avie (CALS) Biology and Society
Wateradept (CALS) Communications
gosnia (CALS) AEM (GT)
BrandNew (ILR) (GT)
Mollena (HumEc) (GT)
otafu90 (ILR) (GT)

Guess it was gosnia who was accepted for AEM, haven’t seen a post from them in awhile. And I added otafu considering he’s guaranteed anyway.

Btw guys, who is in the cornell fb group ? =p

thanks water.
