Why are extracurricular officers so lazy?

Well, at least in my school…

I didn’t get into Science Olympiad because the person in charge of emails mistyped by own address and I never got any of the emails, so now I’ve been kicked out. I’ve asked the president, she says I should have checked with the person earlier. I’m like ***, since I told two of my friends in Science Olympiad about this and they gave me the official email for Science Olympiad, I ask them to change my email and I never got a reply - nor did anything else change.

Like wow. That’s the third club that officers have really not acted “officer-like”. Asian-American Club didn’t respond to my emails and didn’t offer much opinion on my suggestions to spread its popularity… not to mention I could have brought diversity since I was the only non-Indian in the club. Debate club… president pretty much did the same.

Honestly, I’m running really thin on possible choices for clubs and budget cuts aren’t helping either. I have Marching Band, Indoor Drumline, Rowan Youth Orchestra, Interact, DECA… I’m not even going to bother join anything else not related to music anymore. Speaking of which… can’t even try out for Tri-M! That’s another story though.

If there were more business and music clubs in my school I would be so much better off

budget cuts are the law of the universe

Asian-American Club?? What do you expect lol. Tough luck w/ science Olympiad.

Sorry to hear about te whole Science Olympiad situation. If you’re really interested though, maybe you could try starting your own club, probably in the field of music or business. Whatever you decide to do though, good luck.
