Why are kids at Boarding School So Attractive?

Yes, they are gorgeous. Not just in the viewbooks either. The guys at Middlesex are gorgeous haha. My friend introduced me to a bunch. However, I think there are just as many unattractive guys as attractive guys. I just think the attractive guys are even more attractive.

I agree with risingjunior. As far as attractiveness, going to BS is going to be a shock for me, because I have gone to a very very small (thirty six kids in my grade, around one hundred ten in the whole middle school), where everyone is very school-focused (not to mention sheltered). When I went to visit boarding schools I was amazed at how much more good looking the guys there were!

AHAHAHAHA @ tuesdayair’s comment on Exeter lionlinks photos. Man, those are unfortunate. I can’t believe they use them for Exeter yearbook photos.

Alright, let’s think about this here: Doesn’t it make sense that parents who are willing to dish out big bucks (or do lots of extra “work” looking for FA) are the same parents that make sure their kids receive the best health care, dental care and nutrition? All that usually adds up to at least “healthy” looking people. Add good genes (yes, money attracts beauty, sorry!) and top notch grooming habits into the mix and there you are. Do you agree?

When i was at Exeter i noticed some good looking people but they had hair that looked like it needed to be kept up with…like hair cuts very often…how do kids at boarding school get hair cuts? hahahah randoum and kind of awkward question…

people get less and less attractive as the term progresses at Exeter… people pull four half-allnighters in a row, they start eating junk food, etc… as for hair, most people get haircuts over break

also, being attractive probably helps with the application process-- not that admission looks for attractiveness in a candidate but rather just a subconscious thing we do as humans :</p>

my brother’s school has a rule that boy’s hair can’t be longer than their ears, and my brother’s hair grows really fast, so it grows down to his ears in two weeks. his house parent usually gives him money from the school to get a haircut, which he hates, because all of the hairdressers near his school are horrible and give him bowl cuts…hahahah

is BS food like as bad and fatty as ive heard? bc thats kinda, scary

freshman 15 u know? is i t real?

I really hope not.

Well when I went for the Experience Exeter day (Monday for me) they had bacon on the lunch menu. Did I answer your question?

Don’t worry, all of the stressing you’re bound to do at Exeter kind of negates the Freshman 15 : )

Quite honestly, when I look at my school’s website, I think: “Oh God, you WOULD.” The admissions staff knows what they’re doing when they ask certain… oh, say… crew studs… to take a few pics for admissions. You get assigned to admissions as a work duty for a reason, and you should be flattered.

haha that’s funny I think the opposite- I think the stress made me crave carbohydrates and gain weight like crazy. plus, all the midnight snacks?

Also Exeter has super good desserts… be careful :o)
Dhall food can get greasy but just eat smart there are always healthy options

freshmen 15 is totally legitimate. if you eat right, and don’t give into cravings you’ll be fine. most schools have salad bars. nmh has an enormous dining hall with a trillion options, i think exeter has a pretty well sized one as well.

i wonder if they have the junior 15
look at it this way, guys. we wont gain the freshmen 15 in college and we can lose it before college…and then we’ll be the best looking kids on campus :)

i looked at exeter’s menu on line, and all the food looked delicious. i guess if you tried hard you could gain 15 pounds, but…

im not worried about the dining hall food,
its the gelato and chocolate stores in town that will be hard to resist
haha

boarding school kids attractive?! hahahahha (i go to a boarding school by the way so i wud know :D)
i go back to my previous HS for seeing girls (not the only reason…but a big inner incentive u know…hehe :p)

i bet that everyone only sees the kids at boarding school as attractive because when you go for revisit and stuff,
you notice the more outgoing kids,
which are usually better looking kids because they have higher self esteems…

im just guessing :)

what school do you go to innovative?
