Why do American Jews and Asians do so well in Life??

Well… most Asians and Jews simply value education.

It’s because of their crazy-ass parents.

I don’t know how to quote but

"It’s because of their crazy-ass parents. "
QFT

^^^ Haha, very true.

Parental involvement is really important in education.

I love how the white kids say that parents are the only reason that we asians do well. If we accept this as true, what does this say about ** your parents, eh **

work ethic.

Parental involvement is really important in education.

Not necessarily. I couldn’t really count much on my parents when I was a child. They were immigrants from a Caribbean country and only one ever graduated from a high school. Sure, they may have checked on my grades every-so-often, but I wouldn’t call them “involved”.

As a Jew, I have always observed that from the very beginning, intellectualism and education have been two core traits of the Jewish tradition. Unlike other religions, Jews are encouraged to continually question and reevaluate their beliefs throughout their lives. The whole Talmud is basically made up of hundreds of different interpretations of the scripture and Jewish law, and many of these descriptions are conflicting. So while I think that work ethic is very much stressed in Jewish culture, I think that many of the achievements of the Jewish population as a whole are more based on fulfilling a certain way of life rather than trying to use learning as a means to an end, although there are many instances of this as well.

Fulfilment to life? My parents did try to steer me to work in healthcare because it brings the most value to life. But I do not quite like that…
