Why Do Asian Girls Prefer White Guys???

my sister, asian, only dates white guys. she finds most white guys attractive and asian guys ugly. she;s asian herself and lived in China for 14 years.

so i asked her: “WHY DO U PREFER WHITE GUYS?”

here is her response:

white guys are more jock-ish and more athletic usually, which give them muscles

taller, and more man-ly.

the media message. most romatic movies and spy movies feature really handsome and sophisticated white males, think of Pierce Brosnan. Most hollywood male stars are white males. if you are surrounded in this environment, you start to adapt the beauty standard of caucasion males (long hair, blue eyes, big nose…etc).

it’s a f******ing pity.

However, on average, asian guys are more wealthy than white guys in America, they just don’t show it, or maybe some asian guys are stingy?? someone earlier in the post pointed out whites are richer, which is not true.

what about latin people  everyone talks about blacks whites and asians :(

by the way this is hilarious

http://www.bitterasianmen.com/nature.html</a></p>

Getting close on that one…hehehe

It IS a pity, because if your sister truly were looking for the athletic, tall, and muscular guys, she’d go for West Africans (the blacks that dominate sprinting, football, basketball, etc.). At least she admits to being heavily influenced by American movies. Some girls that share her viewpoint may pretend they’re too sophisticated to be swayed by James Bond movies, but they’re not.

So it’s not some kind of innate biological attraction that draws some naive Asian girls to date exclusively white. The media is telling them what is cool and desirable, and they’re obeying, all like sheep. There’s nothing wrong with being attracted to white guys, but to date them exclusively while denigrating Asians with 19th century stereotypes IS.

Hmm, if you just go and walk around at any of the major State U.'s, you’ll planty of buff and built white guys, and only a few built asian guys. I’m sure that some girls jsut don’t like asians because most are skinny little computer geeks that play chess and are smart, but some asians pretty jock-ish and stuff, you should go to Cali and see.

It’s certainly not a biological thing: Asians can get really buff if they want to. I think it’s a cultural thing, where Asian culture doesn’t see the importance of a very muscular body as much as American culture does. My parents always tell me that back in their day (in Korea), athletics were only for kids who weren’t going to university, and that there was a negative image associated with athletic Asians. A lot of immigrant parents seem to carry that attitude to America.

nbachris, what you said in that last post is very true. Built and Buff seems to be correlated with farmers in the Asian society.

And this debate has gone stale. Isn’t it pretty obvious that some Asian girls just like to kiss white ***?

LMAO, tru dat, it’s society.

I don’t have the attitude that because I’m Asian, I should get first crack at all Asian girls. The sight of interracial couples involving Asian girls doesn’t bother me one bit. It’s when these girls start talking dirt about their own people that disturbs me, as A) it shows ethnic insecurity and B) it may be ruining the chances for all Asian guys with girls who may take those false ideas to heart.

being an asian male, i do have a degree of bitterness because of that.
at my school, i only know of only one couple in which both the guy and girl are asian.
asian girl-white guy is quite common place.

that sucks for me. ****.

hm…I actually find asian guys more attractive. Although I’m looking at Hollywood actors mostly (we don’t have many minority students at our school)

soccerfanatic, YOU GO GIRL!!!

I agree with the above. Being “built” is often frowned upon in some parts of Asia. It’s almost like brawn and brains are considered mutually exclusive.

In addition, I’ve noticed that many Asian girls prefer skinnier/thinner guys (Japanese girls at least). So I’m not entirely sure about the whole “bigger and buffer” idea. Although I’m sure some Asian girls do prefer buff guys.

I kind of agree with nbachris, many Asian girls are heavily influenced by the media/peers and such. It’s really not a big deal though. It’s not like, “whites are stealing our women!” lol

Honestly, what ever floats your boat. Race shouldn’t even matter.

right now we’re only 4% of the U.S. population, but in SF bay area and LA and orange county where i live we’re about 25%

so it’s improving somewhat, give it 10 years we asians will dominate california, and our image will improve. we need a place where asians are a huge portion of the population so we can have our own voice that can not be ignored by anybody. the media likes to bring out negative stereotypes yet at the same time downplaying and straight up ignoring all the positive ones. look at the movie “crash” they just show asians as bad drivers and illegal immigrants. so come over to california and help set the precedent for future asian generations by taking care of your appearance, study smart, and be an all around confident guy by socializing and having people skills. Come out and live in california and show the rest of the country what asians are all about and can do for the 6th strongest econmy in the world.

whenever i meet a bunch of people (especially non asians), i make an extra effort to be more personable, i always try to be charismatically confident and destroy the meek asian stereotype of a nerd. though i’m only 5’5’', ill probably be one the loudest and most noticeable people at any social function. just remember people are always watching and judging by your actions and appearances. so image always matters.

unggio, it is a nice that you want asians to be successful but I doubt that asians will become a dominant force in California. I think Hispanics already dominate California and Texas, though I am not exactly sure where asians will stand. Still, I am a little unclear about this…do you mean politically/through influence or in numbers??? One thing I do find interesting is that the minority population will increase and I heard that around 2050 whites will be a minority in the US, so I wonder how this will affect representation in the government.

“I kind of agree with nbachris, many Asian girls are heavily influenced by the media/peers and such. It’s really not a big deal though. It’s not like, “whites are stealing our women!” lol”

actually, it IS.

maybe my school’s just notorius for hookups, but it’svery difficult to find a asian girl who’s single at my school, and most of them are with white guys.

it is like the complete opposite at my school XeLnAg_A.

Why limit yourself to Asian girls? :P

i’m asian. but why care about race? you people are so superficial, “OH YEAH BECAUSE ASIAN GIRLS TEND TO DATE WHITE GUYS.” i DO like err [using your terminology] ‘white,’ guys on the sole basis that many of them share my outlook on life. and i don’t mean a&f or a|x models… and i know many “white” guys who do not belong to those IDIOTIC CLIQUES where “gangstas” hang out with “gangstas” and asian fobs giggle with other asian fobs about se7en or who is hott in the latest manga. gag

race has to do with nothing. there are asian girls out there who only go for guys because of their skin color and that’s as ****** messed up as can be, but a few look past that.

actually in my asian american studies class, i learned that asians are 12% of california in total,
so in time while we may not be the absolute majority in california, but we will be a significant size that is too large for hollywood and the rest of america to falsely stereotype us.
on the last day of my asian american studies class, my teacher gave a compelling argument after we finished how asians have been classified as subhuman in america during the 19th and 20th centuries, how we were constantly categorized into negative and demeaning stereotypes and associated with meekness and backstabbing.
american history has shown that when “others (whites)” define you (asians), it will ALWAYS be in an unflattering perspective.

so we must take it upon ourselves to set the precedent and define the asian race. im not a supremacist or anything, but it sickens me to the very core when i meet white people and they admit that all they know about asians are that they work in chinese fast food, are bad drivers, have bad accents, are passive, and are good at math.

sadly most asians don’t give two sh.its, they just keep on perpetuating these negative stereotypes. another reason why i recommend coming to california, is that since there are such large populations of asians here, is that there is probably less of a glass ceiling in the corporate structure out here. i could be wrong since im still in college, but it makes sense that there would be less racial discrimination in Cali than in say Oklahoma. and if you do come to california, come to the san francisco bay area, or orange county or los angeles.
