<p>well OP, if you’re going to recognize that asians are smarter on average (very possible) you may as well recognize the other racial differences that lead to asian men’s undesirable portrayal by the media. The fact is that 99.9% of asian men are very androgynous in appearance. For this reason, they aren’t desired by most women or held in high regard by most men, so casting them in non-stereotypical roles doesn’t make sense if one wants to attract viewers. Nobody wants to watch a movie with Jimmy Wang saving the world unless it’s a kung fu movie (which will appeal to a certain market).</p>
