Why is it called precalculus when it’s nothing like calculus. We have used little to no precalc in calculus.
Because the concepts prepare you for calculus level math. It’s not that you use much pre calc in calculus but that you use the foundation of precalc understanding as a base level knowledge in calc
What did you learn in pre-calculus that you aren’t using in calculus? Most of it will come up at some point.
@Keggin some pre-calculus topics didn’t show up until Calculus BC or multi-variable Calculus, but still show up.
