Will being president of two clubs help?

I am president of two clubs at my school:
Tech Club (I founded it) - Teaches students about technology and coding/ encourages them to go into the technology field.
Second Chance Club - Start fundraisers, volunteer for community

I may not have the best GPA: Estimating 3.7 gpa with honors classes this semester
So I want to use extra curricular to help me get there. I’m trying to also get into the student government (got rejected :l) so any advice for that too?

I wonder how helpful a leadership role in an activity you founded would count very much.

If you look at the common data set for any college (google it…Common Data Set )…in Section C it shows you what are the important factors in admission. GPA and SAT/ACT are always “Very Important”. ECs can be Very Important, Important or considered. so GPA/SAT will always be first, and then ECs. 3.7 is still a good gpa.
